A beautiful small vintage ginger jar decorated with an especially pretty palette of turquoise blue, celadon green and touches of warm rust against a creamy white ground.
The jar features graceful long-tailed birds surrounded by flowering branches, peonies and foliage, all outlined in dark detail. Coordinating floral decoration continues around the shoulder and lid, while a stylized leaf border finishes the base. Fine overall crazing to the glaze gives the piece wonderful vintage character.
At just 6 inches tall, this is a particularly versatile size for styling on a bookshelf, atop a stack of books, on a bedside table or tucked into a collected display of blue and white or chinoiserie porcelain. The turquoise and green coloring also works beautifully with traditional, grandmillennial and Palm Beach-inspired interiors.

ConditionGood vintage condition with age-related crazing throughout the glaze. There is a small chip to the inner lip/rim of the jar, as shown in the photographs. The chip is concealed when the lid is in place and is not noticeable when the jar is displayed normally. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the description.
