Beautiful vintage religious sculpture depicting the Pietà, with the Virgin Mary holding the body of Jesus Christ.
The figure is rendered in a white alabaster / marble-dust style material with detailed folds, facial features and anatomical modeling, and is mounted on a rectangular gray-veined marble base.
Made in Italy.
