Vintage Ingersoll Official Boy Scout wristwatch, dating to the early 1930s, featuring a distinctive Art Deco/aviation-style dial with the “Be Prepared” and “Scout” markings.
This is an exceptionally interesting piece of Boy Scouts of America and Ingersoll watch history. The watch has a distinctive curved Art Deco/tonneau-style case, large black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, and the original aged Scout dial.

Condition
The watch is being sold in vintage/as-found condition.
The dial shows significant age-related discoloration, crazing, staining, and wear. The case has considerable wear to the original plated finish, scratches, oxidation, and areas of finish loss. The leather band is very old and shows substantial wear and deterioration. The presentation box also shows age and wear.
