Estate Find -Antique Victorian Scrapbook Demorest’s Magazine Portrait Album. This book dates to the late 19th century and acts like a Victorian scrapbook, with images of famous people pasted onto each page. As stated at the beginning of the book, each magazine number of Demorest’s Magazine had eight portraits which could be cut out and pasted into this album. There are blank pages towards the end of the album, meaning that it is most likely not filled with the complete set of 200 portraits, but it is nonetheless an exciting book to peruse.
The book is in good condition, with some stains and age spots. The binding is good, although the bottom of the spine is slightly loose. Please see photos for more details.
