Vintage SPESCO Bowie-style hunting knife with a long clip-point blade, pronounced fuller, brass guard, and attractive stag handle with contrasting spacers and a metal pommel. Blade is clearly marked “SPESCO / SOLINGEN / WEST-GERMANY” with the diamond-shaped SPESCO logo.
Includes the pictured brown leather sheath, featuring an embossed deer scene, EDGE BRAND marking, retaining strap, riveted construction, and metal tip. The sheath is marked differently from the knife; original pairing is unknown.
Pre-owned condition with visible blade scratches, finish wear, and scattered discoloration/pitting. Handle has rich amber and dark brown coloring with deeply textured surfaces.
