Created for Copenhagen’s SAS Royal Hotel, Jacobsen’s radically minimalist flatware remains one of the most recognizable designs of the Danish Modern period. Its futuristic form was notably selected for use in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
