Vintage G. Boley precision watchmaker/jeweler’s lathe and accessory lot.
The main lathe has an approximately 16-inch (400 mm) bed and factory/serial number 41279. It retains its vintage hammered green finish.
The lot includes:
• G. Boley long-bed lathe with mounted headstock, tailstock, and compound cross-slide/tool-rest assembly
• Two additional loose headstock/spindle assemblies
• Separate lever-feed tailstock/drilling assembly with chuck
• Wooden rack containing nine black conical tooling pieces
• Belts, pulleys, and other attached components shown in the photographs
I have not personally tested any of this equipment. No motor is included. Because I do not have a motor or the specialized equipment and knowledge required to test it fully, the operating condition, accuracy, completeness, and compatibility of the components are unknown.
The equipment shows age-related wear, surface oxidation, discoloration, scratches, worn finish, and residue from previous use and storage. Cleaning, adjustment, lubrication, repair, restoration, or additional parts may be required.
Everything is being sold together as one lot. Only the equipment and components shown in the photographs are included. Please inspect every photograph carefully because the photos show the exact contents and condition of the lot.
The MDF mounting base shown in some photographs is not included in the sale. It is a later/custom support and is excluded to reduce shipping cost. The sale includes the Boley lathe and the accessories specifically listed in the description.
