Vintage French Jumeau 10" Celluloid Doll Set with 6 Custom Hats & Presentation Box
A fine mid-century French collectible featuring a 10-inch celluloid Jumeau doll complete with a custom wardrobe collection of 6 miniature hats housed inside a floral presentation trunk box.
During the final phase of Jumeau production under SFBJ (prior to liquidations in the late 1950s), heads and bodies were manufactured using celluloid rather than traditional bisque. This example is marked JUMEAU 25 on the upper back.
Lot Details & Accessories:
Jumeau Doll: Stands 10 inches tall with molded blonde hair, painted facial features, painted eyelashes, and working blue sleep eyes. Stamped "JUMEAU 25" on back.
6 Miniature Hats Included:
White cloth sailor cap with dark ribbon tally.
Grey felt hat with red accent bow and black fringe feather detailing.
Lavender felt hat with ribbon band.
Natural straw bonnet accented with pink ribbon and pastel flowers.
Woven straw hat with teal green ribbon trim.
Black lace millinery piece / bonnet.
Presentation Trunk/Box: Custom divided display box covered in a vintage floral rose pattern paper.

Doll: Very good to excellent vintage condition. Clean body surfaces, clear back stamp, and intact eye mechanism.
Hats & Box: Hats show light handling consistent with age. Box shows mild edge wear along the inner dividers.
