Vintage post-WWII Finnish M55 steel military helmet featuring the classic German M40-style Stahlhelm profile. Retains its leather liner with drawstring and leather chinstrap with metal buckle. A faint handwritten name is present along the interior rim. Helmet shows substantial age and wear throughout including oxidation, scratches, finish loss, staining, discoloration, and heavy age-related wear to the leather liner and chinstrap. No German manufacturer or lot number markings were found. Sold and represented as a postwar Finnish military helmet. See photos for details.
