Offered for sale is an unusual, substantial hand-shaped door knocker featuring a sculpted hand with a decorative geometric-patterned cuff, circular mounting plate, and separate mushroom-shaped striker.
The piece has a dark, aged patina with areas of greenish oxidation, giving it a distinctive antique appearance.
The hand is hinged and designed to swing against the separate striker when mounted on a door.
