The Fenwick Feralite FF79 is an 8-foot, 2-piece vintage fiberglass fly rod widely regarded by classic glass enthusiasts as one of the finest all-around trout and dry fly rods ever made.

Note: The vintage Fenwick FF79 fiberglass fly rod was coated on the outside with a protective layer of marine epoxy to seal the fiberglass and shield it from moisture and UV damage.

Additionally, for the iconic decorative trim bands and accents near the wraps on these older models, Fenwick utilized a highly durable white automotive lacquer paint rather than relying solely on thread wraps and color preserver

The coating is bubbling due to age on the bottom blank see photos. The rod is fully useable and the coating can be reapplied if desired.
