Vintage lot of 8 European postcards preserved together with an original envelope from God’s Bible School and Missionary Training Home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The collection includes vintage views from Wales and Paris, France, including Llandudno, Craig-y-Don, Mostyn Avenue, West Shore Sand Dunes, Swallow Falls at Bettws-y-Coed, Conway/Conwy Castle and Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and Pont Alexandre III / Les Invalides.
Also included is a “Joyeux Noël” Christmas postcard. Several cards were produced by Valentine’s, a well-known British postcard publisher.
The original envelope has a handwritten period notation referring to views sent from Europe. One postcard also contains an old handwritten Christmas/New Year message mentioning Belgium.
A nice original group of European travel and photographic ephemera that appears to have been kept together for many years.
Condition varies. Cards and envelope show age-related toning, edge and corner wear, creases, small tears and general handling wear. Some cards are written on while others are unused. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
