Beautiful vintage Elgin De Luxe rectangular dress watch featuring a striking black dial with gold Arabic numerals and hands, subsidiary seconds at 6 o\'clock, and a curved 10K gold-filled case.The watch has recently received a full mechanical service and was regulated in five positions. It is running strong and keeping excellent time. The included timegrapher photograph was taken after service and shows +1 sec/day, 252° amplitude and 0.3 ms beat error in the pictured position.A NOS crystal has also been fitted. The watch is currently paired with a new black textured leather strap that works beautifully with the black-and-gold dial.Measurements: 25 mm wide excluding crown, 27 mm including crown, 35 mm lug-to-lug, approximately 10 mm thick, and 19 mm lug width.The black dial presents beautifully for its age and retains a wonderful vintage appearance. The gold-filled case shows scratches, wear and other signs consistent with a vintage watch. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. The case has intentionally not been aggressively refinished in order to preserve its vintage character.This is a vintage mechanical watch and should not be considered water resistant.
