A very early 1920s \"The Marvel\" is punch stamped (not decal) in the wood. It is printed 13 Oz. on the side. It has an all wood fishtail handle. The strings are early animal gut strings with red trembling in the top and bottom tows. All the strings are intact. This was found in the wing nut press as shown. The press and racquet have not been cleaned (dusty) and are in very good condition. Varnish finish is still shiny. You can\'t find a nicer, early, rare condition racquet.
