Vintage Cut & Engraved Glass Compote with 8 Art Glass Fruit Pieces Centerpiece For Sale

Heavy cut and polished American Brilliant style crystal compote, paired with eight Murano style blown glass fruit pieces for display. Wide, shallow bowl, wheel-cut and engraved foliage against fine crosshatching, and additional cutting around the rim, faceted stem. Nice brilliance, looks very similar to Pairpoint, but I didn\'t find an easy match for the pattern so may be another manufacturer. Likely early to mid 20th century. The compote measures approx 6+1/2\" tall and 6+5/8\" across.

The fruit is made in the style of high gloss murano hand blown glass. Included: lemon, cherry, two strawberries, a red candied apple, green apple, bright orange fruit, and a grape cluster. The grapes differ in finish slightly with satin and polished glass and wrapped stem. The fruit and compote are offered together as a group.

• The compote is in excellent condition, with strong gloss and brilliance, minimal expected wear to the foot, and no chips or obvious scratches. It\'s wheel cut and engraved, but fully polished.
• The fruit is in very good overall condition, with no chips or breaks observed. The bright orange fruit has one small repaired split in its stem, a little hard to see in photos, it seems stable but no record on repair material used. No other repairs are apparent.
• All pieces have been gently cleaned and are ready for display.
