An extraordinary set of MCM napkins--"Spirited Napkins" by Leacock.
Each of the eight napkins features a different pair of spirits, or ghosts. Two ghosts are sitting on a bare tree limb enjoying a cocktail with an owl watching over them. They are illustrated to reflect their written description-- Friendly Spirits, High Spirits, Gay Spirits, Low Spirits, Bad Spirits, Good Spirits, Evil Spirits, Loving Spirits. Humorous with fantastic design and colors. Hand printed, hand finished. This set is part of the Cocktail Story collection by Leacock. They come in their original folder. Removed only for photos. A complete set, unused in the folder is extremely rare.
