Substantial vintage Chinese decorative vase featuring a vivid yellow crackle-glazed porcelain body with detailed botanical and fruit decoration.
The vase is accented with elaborate three-dimensional cast bronze-tone metal mounts featuring pomegranates, roses, leaves, and branches. The porcelain body rests on a large ornate footed metal base, creating a striking combination of yellow porcelain and aged bronze-tone metal.
This is an unusually substantial piece. It stands approximately 16 inches tall and weighs approximately 11 lbs (5 kg). The considerable weight comes from the thick porcelain construction and heavy cast metal elements.
The underside bears a red Chinese mark along with the wording:
“NOT FOR FOOD PURPOSE – FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY.”
A Made in China label was originally present on the underside and has since been removed.
Based on the construction, decoration, markings, and overall appearance, we believe this is a late 20th-century piece, likely circa 1970s–1980s. We have not been able to positively identify the manufacturer or independently confirm the exact production date, so please review the detailed photographs of the mark.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with normal age-related surface wear and patina. The crackle/crazing visible throughout the porcelain appears consistent with the decorative glaze and age of the piece.
