Vintage Chinese Shiwan Mudmen Pottery Figurines – Set of 3
Beautiful vintage collection of three Chinese Shiwan-style pottery figurines featuring traditional figures and occupations. Each piece displays wonderful character and detail, with colorful glazed clothing contrasted by natural unglazed clay areas characteristic of classic Chinese Mudman pottery.
The group includes a seated female musician playing a traditional stringed instrument, a seated fisherman/worker holding a pole, and a larger male figure posed alongside a barrel or vessel.
The undersides feature unglazed clay construction with impressed markings. One figure is impressed “496,” while another bears a small impressed symbol or character.
The tallest figure measures approximately 7 inches high.
All three figurines are being sold together as one collection.
