Offered for sale is a vintage Caucasian Tar, a distinctive traditional stringed instrument with beautiful handcrafted construction and decorative details.

This instrument was acquired from the former USSR and has been carefully stored. Based on its overall condition and history, it appears to have never been played or used, although I cannot independently certify that it has never been played.

⭐ UNIQUE TAG & STAMPED MARKINGS

One of the most interesting features of this instrument is the distinctive tag and stamped markings found on the instrument.

The tag and markings are shown clearly in the photographs and are included exactly as found on the instrument. I have not removed, altered, or replaced them.

CONDITION

Overall, the instrument appears to be in very good vintage collector condition considering its age.

The front soundboard/membrane is made from a natural material, so variations in color, texture, wrinkles, and surface appearance are normal and should not automatically be interpreted as playing wear.
