Authentic vintage CUTCO 5-piece kitchen knife set with original CUTCO Cat. No. 1742 knife tray/holder, featuring the classic black handles with brass-colored rivet accents and stainless-steel blades. CUTCO's current documentation identifies #1742 as the 5-Pc. Knife & Fork Tray, designed for wall or drawer storage. The tray has five knife slots and is specifically designed to hold compatible CUTCO knives.

The five knives shown include a large #1725 9-1/4" French Chef, a #1768 Spatula Spreader, a long serrated slicer consistent with the #1724 9-3/4" Slicer, and two smaller CUTCO utility/paring-style knives. The #1725 and #1768 model numbers are clearly visible in the photographs. CUTCO identifies #1725 as the 9-1/4" French Chef and #1768 as the Spatula Spreader.

The included knives have the distinctive vintage black/very dark handles and stainless-steel construction.
