The group includes:
• Two infantrymen standing and firing rifles
• One infantryman running with his rifle carried at the trail
The figures wear khaki service uniforms with peaked caps, black boots and green rectangular bases. Each measures approximately 2¼ inches tall and weighs approximately 24 grams.
The underside of at least one base has molded markings that read:
ENGLAND
Casting openings are visible in the tops of the caps, consistent with Britains hollow-cast construction.
These are believed to date from approximately the 1930s. I am not a toy-soldier collector and obtained them from a deceased family member, so I cannot guarantee the exact Britains set number, regiment or production year. Britains used similar infantry poses in several different sets and production variations.
