Vintage Bill Matthews Schwinn Banana Seat Muscle Bike Hangman Noose Sissy Bar For Sale

A used vintage Bill Matthews Co. "The Hangman" Noose accessory sissy bar. Bill Matthews Co. was a banana seat bike accessory manufacturer in California in the late 1960's and early 1970's and made some of the coolest Far-Out Stuff brand accessories. The company also made the Top Fueler Drag Fork and Header Pipes accessories. This sissy bar is the hangman noose sissy bar and is a full 50 inches tall. I've had this bar from before was launched as a website. I got the bar from a friend in trade because I had seen an ad for them in the 1970 Auto World slot car catalog. He had the bar on a Schwinn Lemon Peeler he had just bought. The bar was in poor shape when I got it, so I took it the bar to Custom Chrome Plating in Grafton, OH and they fixed a weld on the noose and polished and chromed the bar. You won't find a nicer original Hangman for sale.The plating on the bar is flawless and it has not been mounted since being plater.
