This listing is for a huge scrapbook of different articles/photos+ of the Greatest Yankee of all time Babe Ruth. I purchased this large collection of loose newspaper clippings many years ago and recently decided to get them into a nice high quality scrapbook for safe keeping. There are 100 pages with about 564 give or take a few individual clippings.
The first 80 pages are almost all Ruth with Gehrig appearing here and there!
PLEASE Note, the color photos of the different vintage cards are NOT real, they were taken out of a catalog and added just to add some color to the scrapbook!!
The last 20 pages or so are clippings from different players during the 30's into the early 50's The original owner of the clippings wrote in pencil on many of them the date and newspaper he removed them from, which adds a bit of history to the clippings. The overall size of the scrapbook is 13 1/2" x 12 1/2" with a high quality Black Vinyl cover and back cover and it is 1 1/2" thick. Each piece is attached with Archival Glue Dots, so there is no wrinkling of the clipping's due to using any type of liquid glue.
