Vintage B&B Bénédictine & Brandy advertising ashtray made in the shape of a B&B liqueur bottle.
This unusual amber glass advertising piece features molded cigarette rests, B&B lettering, the round “B and B / Le Directeur” label design, raised medallion detail, Julius Wile Sons New York importer advertising, and a molded white bottle-cap detail.
There is a small purple-colored mark on the white bottle-cap area. I have photographed this closely so the buyer can see it clearly. It has been left as found rather than attempting to remove or alter it.
There is also a small rough/irregular area in the amber glass. I have a second identical B&B ashtray with a similar irregularity in essentially the same location, suggesting this may be related to the original manufacturing process rather than later damage. Please refer to the close-up photographs.
