Up for sale is a gorgeous Vintage Japanese Porcelain Fan-Shaped Decorative Plate featuring the traditional Art of Chokin.
Design & Craftsmanship: The central metal medallion is intricately etched with an ancient Japanese landscape scene featuring a pagoda, a mountain peak, and a sailboat. It is heavily gilded in 24-karat gold and silver accents. The white porcelain dish replicates an open folding fan with brushed gold-gilded edges.
Origin: Authentic piece made in Japan for the Westland Company (San Leandro, CA), marked with registration number REG. No. 84-C0533 on the back.
Display: The porcelain rim features two built-in pre-drilled holes at the top designed for easy wire or cord wall-hanging.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The gold trim and central metal etching remain highly reflective and beautifully preserved.
