The reverse carries the airline's own typed press release caption, touting the Astrojet as "fastest airliner flying," powered by four fanjet engines — genuine period American Airlines PR department material, not a later reproduction.
The "Astrojet" name was American's marketing brand for its fanjet-reengined 707 and 720 fleet in the early-to-mid 1960s, when jet speed and fuel economy were major selling points in airline advertising. A great piece of commercial aviation history with its original documentation intact.
