Up for sale is a beautiful antique 1930s Agfa Ansco No. 2 Box Camera, manufactured in Binghamton, New York. This is the highly collectible colored model variant featuring a striking, rich maroon/burgundy baked enamel front faceplate and a matching rear film door hatch. The lower front panel features the elegant, classic cursive \"Agfa Ansco\" logo embossed directly into the metal frame, while the internal door retains its remarkably bright and vivid original yellow-and-blue factory sticker stating: \"USE B2 - Agfa - ALL-WEATHER FILM.\" (Note: B2 was Agfa\'s vintage designation for classic 120 roll film).Cosmetically, the colored enamel panels look fantastic with only minor, minimal edge scuffing from handling. The dark brown textured leatherette casing is clean, the viewfinders are present, and the top leather strap is fully attached. Mechanically, the front faceplate module detaches smoothly to reveal clean, un-rusted rotary shutter springs and wheels. The shutter fires smoothly. Please note that the internal slide-out metal film spool carrier basket core is missing from this unit. Due to this missing piece, it is being sold strictly as-is for display, historical prop use, restoration parts, or collection filler.
