**Vintage A. Santini "Mother and Child" Mid-Century Modern Sculpture Bust**
**Made in Italy — Excellent Vintage Condition**
Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage "Mother and Child" bust sculpture by renowned Italian artist Amilcare Santini (A. Santini). This tender, classic mid-century piece beautifully captures a mother cradling her newborn baby.
Crafted in Italy from a heavy, premium compound of crushed alabaster, marble dust, and resin, the statue features a smooth, matte finish that gives it the cold, solid feel of carved stone. It is securely mounted on a gorgeous, highly polished square black-and-white marble base.
Crucially, the bottom of the marble base features the original, pristine silver foil authenticity label reading: "SCULPTOR A. SANTINI / CLASSIC FIGURE / MADE IN ITALY" along with his iconic red horse-drawn chariot emblem.
