Up for sale is a beautiful vintage sterling silver ring featuring a classic Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired design.
The face of the ring holds a luminous, square-cut insert of natural mother-of-pearl/abalone shell that catches beautiful iridescent blue, pink, and green hues in the light. The shoulders feature an elegant, openwork geometric square grid design typical of the historic Glasgow Art Nouveau style. The inside of the band is crisply hallmarked \"925\" for solid sterling silver, along with maker marks.
Condition:Excellent vintage condition. The sterling silver has a wonderful natural dark tarnish/patina in the recesses of the grid work that makes the design pop (can be polished bright by the buyer if preferred). The shell inlay is perfectly smooth with no chips or cracks. The band is perfectly round and structurally sound.
