This piece holds great regional history, as it was produced under the private label "K Sport" specifically for Dawahares, the iconic Kentucky department store chain that closed its doors in 2008 after a century of business.
The vest is solid black with classic Kentucky blue contrast trim lining the neckline, armholes, and bottom hem. It features a finely embroidered retro "UK" interlocking logo on the left chest. The lower half of the vest torso transitions into a beautiful subtle vertical ribbed texture.
