Vintage Hanes “Fabulous 50s” graphic T-shirt made in the USA for the 6th Annual Mercy Employee Campaign. The front features a wonderfully period-specific retro design with bold yellow, pink, black, and white graphics filled with tiny 1950s-inspired figures and motifs.
The left sleeve carries an additional “6th Annual Mercy Employee Campaign” graphic with a cartoon character, giving this shirt the feel of an original employee event or promotional piece rather than a modern reproduction.
Made in the USA on a vintage Hanes Heavyweight 50/50 tag and constructed with single-stitch sleeve hems. One especially interesting detail is the pale blue/teal thread visible along the single-stitch seam, an unusual vintage construction detail that is clearly shown in the photographs.
Tagged men’s Medium and measuring approximately 18.5 inches pit to pit with a 25.5-inch length. It has the shorter, narrower proportions typical of many true vintage tees, so please compare the measurements with a similar shirt that fits you well.
