Incredible piece of mid-century Western Americana wear. This vintage 1950’s 1960’s jacket is crafted from exceptionally soft, heavy-weight genuine deerskin leather in a striking, vibrant butter-yellow hue.Finding true mid-century tailored deerskin in a modern Men’s XL size is exceptionally rare. This jacket showcases true master level craftsmanship with intricate details that are tough to find intact today.Authentic carved horn/antler toggles spike buttons on the front closure and pockets, fastened with heavy braided leather loops. Hand punched. Condition is excellent! Leather remains incredibly soft and pliable. My husband had it for years and years but never wore it. Satin lining is fully intact. The fringe is full and beautifully preserved. No brand remains…not sure why but if I remember correctly, he said that it had been made by an artist in Canada.Pit to Pit: 26”
