Here is a 52MB (=50 x 2^20 bytes) Quantum IDE hard drive made in early 1992 and originally installed in a 12 MHz 286 desktop system used for voicemail. I have tested it successfully, deleting all the data and program files. It boots consistently into Digital Research DOS 5.0 with all the DOS files still present.
