Original vintage 1987 Detroit Grand Prix VI poster from the Formula One race held June 19, 20 and 21, 1987, in downtown Detroit, Michigan
The colorful illustration shows a Formula One race car speeding toward the tunnel beneath Hart Plaza, with the Detroit Renaissance Center and a blimp visible in the background. The Detroit Historical Society identifies this same design as the official 1987 Detroit Grand Prix poster.
This is a striking piece of Detroit and Formula One racing history. The 1987 Detroit Grand Prix was part of the original downtown street-circuit era before the event later moved to Belle Isle.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. The poster remains bright and displays beautifully overall. It has visible storage and handling wear, including waviness, light creasing and several more noticeable horizontal creases or impressions across the upper portion.
