According to its original handwritten interior paper label, this instrument carries the serial number 1129846, dating its completion to November 29, 1984. The serial number indicates it was the 6th instrument completed by the workshop that day, making it a wonderful piece of mid-1980s American folk music history.
The Traveler model features a sleek, compact and streamlined body shape designed for portability while retaining the rich acoustic character associated with FolkRoots instruments. It features the distinctive compass-and-star logo inside the sound hole.
