Trek delivered these with a skinny 27" tire. Likely works with 700c with some brake setups.

Lugged gray steel frame uses Reynolds 501 chromoly main triangle tubing with sculpted lugs, horizontal rear dropouts with adjustment screws, and a matching lugged fork with eyelets at the fork ends and single-bolt caliper brake mounts front and rear.
Down tube features a black panel with white "TREK" lettering, the seat tube carries a "Guaranteed Built with Reynolds 501 Butted Frame Tubes" decal, and the seatstay caps and bottom bracket cable guide are cast and molded with Trek logos.
Cable routing uses brazed top tube cable guides and a molded bottom bracket cable guide, with braze-ons for downtube shifters and mounts for racks and fenders at the rear dropouts.

Vintage 1983 Trek 520 steel touring frameset with cosmetic wear from prior use and age. Original gray and black paint shows numerous chips, scratches, and scuffs across the frame and fork with scattered areas of surface rust at exposed metal. Drive-side chainstay black accent around the "520" graphic has extensive paint loss, scraping, and bare metal. Fork ends, rear dropouts, and derailleur hanger show wrench marks, abrasions, and finish wear. Reynolds 501 tubing decal is torn and peeling, and other decals have nicks and edge wear. Headset pieces and bottom bracket axle are installed with oxidation and old grease and should be cleaned and serviced before use. Frame, fork, lugs, and braze-ons are free of dents or bends in the photographed areas. Includes only the frameset with installed headset parts, bottom bracket hardware, rear derailleur hanger, and dropout adjusters; no other components are included.
