Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of 1980s television history! This is the original 1983 \"Knight Rider\" metal lunch box manufactured by Thermos, featuring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight and the legendary K.I.T.T. supercar. This listing includes both the original metal lunch box and the matching plastic thermos. Condition Details:
This set is in good vintage condition, especially considering its age. It has been well-preserved and makes an excellent display piece. Please review the details below and the photos for exact condition: * Front, Back, & Side Panels: The lithograph graphics are vibrant. They show minimal shelf wear with only minor surface scuffs. No major fading or large dents on the main artwork panels.
* Handle & Rim: The white plastic handle is completely intact, sturdy, and fully functional. There is a small, typical amount of light rust spotting on the metal brackets immediately surrounding the handle base (clearly highlighted in the photos).
* Interior: The inside of the box is remarkably clean and bright white, free of the heavy, widespread rust often found on these vintage tins. There is however a faded name of a previous owner on the top panel, clearly highlighted in the photo of the inside.
* Thermos: The matching plastic Thermos is included and is in great shape with a clean graphic wrap, tight-fitting cap, and clean interior.
This is a premium, complete set that will make an absolute standout addition to any 80s pop-culture collection, toy shelf, or retro media room! Shipping & Handling:
The lunch box and thermos will be wrapped carefully in bubble wrap and shipped inside a sturdy box to ensure they arrive in the exact condition shown. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you would like additional close-up photos. Thank you!
