Vintage 1978 wooden alligator/crocodile rolling toy marked “© PEGASUS ’78” on the underside. Beautiful solid hardwood construction with contrasting wood head and four wooden wheels. The alligator has a clever articulated hinged jaw—the mouth opens and closes when the toy is pushed/rolled. Long, streamlined folk-art style body with a curved tail.Very nice vintage condition with normal light wear from age and use. Wheels and moving-mouth mechanism appear functional.
