Vintage 1974 Zippo lighter featuring the USCGC Unimak WTR-379 United States Coast Guard cutter.
The front features a detailed color image of the Coast Guard cutter with “USCGC UNIMAK WTR-379” lettering beneath it. Bottom is marked ZIPPO, Bradford, PA.
The USCGC Unimak served with the United States Coast Guard under several designations, including WTR-379 while serving as a training cutter.
This is a nice piece for a Zippo collector, U.S. Coast Guard veteran, military memorabilia collector, or anyone associated with the USCGC Unimak.
CONDITION:
Pre-owned vintage condition with noticeable scratches, scuffs and finish wear from age and use. Interior insert shows oxidation/tarnish. Flint wheel and internal parts are present.
The lighter has NOT been fueled or fully tested, so operational condition is not guaranteed.
The hinge functions properly and the striker wheel spins freely. There is currently no flint installed, so the lighter has not been spark-tested or fueled. Operational condition beyond the hinge and wheel movement is unknown.
No original box, paperwork or accessories are included.
