Vintage Avalon Hill Panzer Leader WWII tactical board game, featuring armored warfare on the Western Front, 1944–45.
This set includes the Panzer Leader Rules, Designer’s Notes, and Campaign Data, the large multi-section hex mapboard, combat/reference charts, numerous unit and marker counters, and all 20 numbered situations/scenarios. The situations cover a wide range of Western Front engagements, including the Normandy invasion, Operation Market Garden, the Battle of the Bulge, and other major 1944–45 actions.
The game contains a substantial assortment of German, American, British, and other Allied armored, infantry, artillery, aircraft, and support-unit counters. Counters have been previously punched and are currently stored in bags as shown.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition. Box shows noticeable age and storage wear, including edge/corner wear, surface rubbing, creasing, and a split/tear at the upper-left area of the lid. Interior components, maps, charts, rules, and situation sheets present well overall for their age. Please review photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.
Important: All 20 situations are present. Due to the very large number of individual counters, the counters have not been individually inventoried against an original component manifest, so the game is not being represented as 100% complete. Everything included is shown in the photos.
