Thisis an authentic, vintage black-and-white press photograph featuring LindaLovelace during her December 1, 1973, appearance at Harvard University.Lovelace was honored by the parody magazine, the Harvard Lampoon, with their"Wilde Oscar" Award for her performance in the groundbreaking andcontroversial 1972 adult film, "Deep Throat."

LindaLovelace (born Linda Susan Boreman) rose to unprecedented mainstream famefollowing her performance in "Deep Throat." She later denounced heradult film career, stating she had been coerced, and transitioned into aprominent spokeswoman for the anti-pornography movement. Her film creditsinclude "Deep Throat," "Deep Throat Part II," and thepolitical satire "Linda Lovelace for President." She passed away in2002.
