Vintage framed ASIJ Mustangs Sportsmanship Award plaque presented to Arnold Kim for Swimming, dated 1971. This is a very interesting and unusual piece of school sports memorabilia, likely connected to the American School in Japan (ASIJ), whose mascot is the Mustangs.
The plaque features a raised horse design with “Mustangs ASIJ” on the front, mounted in a decorative frame under glass. The reverse is engraved/presented with: “Sportsmanship Award / Arnold Kim / Swimming / 1971.”
This piece has a great vintage look and displays beautifully. It would make an excellent addition to a collection of school memorabilia, sports awards, equestrian-themed decor, or unique vintage wall art.
