Its textured, design and markings looks to be from the early 1970's particularly the curved looped feet and hand-painted sides. It is easily adapted to most ikebana schools or any free-style, floral arrangement for any reason, season or occasion. We have found it displays flowers and materials from our yard indoors and amongst other displayed items. We have found many ikebana containers from our travels in Japan and throughout the mainland and islands.
