Vintage 1963 Tyco "Red Bird East" HO Scale Set T6306A:2498 Chesapeake and Ohio For Sale

This is a vintage Tyco "Red Bird East" Set T6306A:2498 Chesapeake and Ohio train set from 1963 in its original box. The powered engine has been tested and works although the diesel light does NOT work. The contents of the box include the train cars and track, all enclosed in their original boxes. The cars and engines are in very good condition, and all have original couplers and small components such as handbrakes, ladders and doors. The set is comprised of:
- One "Diesel F9" "A" unit - powered - lighted Chesapeake and Ohio engine T224E:898 (NOTE: The diesel light bulb does not work)- One "Diesel F9" "A" unit - non-powered - Chesapeake and Ohio - T225E:398- One "Hopper Car" - Burlington (CB&Q) - "Operating" - T330B:279- One "Chemical Car" - Dupont - T324B:298- One "8-Wheel Caboose" - Chesapeake and Ohio "Unlighted" - T327C:349- One "Skid-Flat Car" - Great Northern - T331B:229- One "Stock Car" - Santa Fe - T312E:249- 12 pieces of curved brass rail, one with connectors for rail power- One piece of straight rail- One piece of straight rail with a crossover/wheel aligning feature- One original list of Tyco authorized service centers- The original empty yellow boxes that highlight the "Tycomatic Coupling" system and "Dyna Balanced Motors."
The outer box is in fair condition with tape on its corners and wear on the box graphics. The box bottom has two split corners and a tear in the center-bottom. The condition of the boxes for the cars and the rails vary. All have wear on the end flaps. The window boxes for all but the non-powered engine and the rails are untorn. Several have one end of the plastic window loose but present. The windows in the non-powered engine's box and the box containing the rails are both torn with a piece missing at one end. The powered engine's box has a complete plastic window but one end of the box is damaged and is partially torn.
