Good Stuff Listing On Vintage 1961 GM Optikleen Windshield Washer Bottle, Bracket, Cap, & Label - 250
This listing is for an ORIGINAL vintage General Motors Optikleen triangle shaped glass windshield washer fluid bottle with the original, steel mounting bracket and steel cap. GM included this as an accessory for a 1961–1967 vehicles. This bottle is particularly desirable because the bottom is molded with a 1961 date mark, making this a very early example.
This original glass bottle is in very good condition. There are no cracks or defects in the glass. The bottom of the bottle is molded with the words “RD CANADA 1961 CHEMICAL CO.”. There is also a number “6” molded into the center of the bottom, which is believed to be a manufacturing molding mark.
The original steel cap has some age-related surface corrosion but it is physically sound.
The original steel mounting bracket has surface corrosion and natural age-related patina, but it remains in very good mechanical condition and is suitable for mounting.
