The body of this car is in very, very good overall vintage conditionand presents beautifully for its age. As expected with a vintage pre-owned collectible, there is age-related wear that buyers should carefully review. Both thefront and rear bumpers show scratches and minor dents/imperfections, including wear along the sides and center areas. These imperfections may be related to the original assembly or years of handling and storage. Thefront and rear windows also have visible scratchesconsistent with age.
On the upper body/hood area, there aretwo small, circular, visible indentations/dents. On thepassenger-side rear area above the back tire, there is a small amount of dark/blackish substance or discoloration. Additional minor dark marks/discoloration can be seen around the lower area above the wheel and slightly near the door. These areas are visible but relatively minor compared with the overall appearance of the model. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
Theunderside is in fair vintage conditionand shows normal signs of age and previous ownership. A previous owner placed a label on the underside reading“1961 Dodge Phoenix.”The label is not being represented as an original factory marking.
This model hasnot been professionally detailedand could benefit from a carefuldeep cleaning inside and out by its new owner. Cleaning has intentionally been left to the buyer to avoid risking damage to this vintage collectible.
Despite its age-related scratches, bumper wear, minor dents, marks and discoloration,the overall body remains in very good condition and displays extremely well. Its long, dramatic profile and classic 1961 styling make it a wonderful piece for a vintage model-car collection, Dodge enthusiast, automotive memorabilia collector, or mid-century display.
