Up for sale is an exceptional, highly prized find for serious pressed-steel collectors: a 100% original 1957 Tonka "Big Mike" Dual Hydraulic Tandem Axle Dump Truck. This massive heavy-commercial model is widely considered one of the holy grails of Tonka's late-50s lineup.

• DECALS: Features the 100% correct, fully rectangular "State Hi-Way Dept" door decals. There are absolutely no tears or cracks. They show minor, honest age-fading along the very bottom edge but present beautifully. The original "Big Mike" and "DUAL HYDRAULICS" decals on the extended dump bed are present, bold, and highly legible.
• PAINT & BODY: Finished in Tonka's iconic safety orange. The original factory enamel retains an excellent glossy shine with light, consistent micro-flea bites and minor play wear along the high edges.
• GRILLE & CHROME: The solid chrome wrap-around front grille and bumper assembly are bright, securely attached, and free of heavy pitting or rust.

For safety, always keep a hand on the bed to guide it smoothly when pressing the lever until the cylinder is repaired or replaced.
