Featured is a beautiful vintage framed print of "Brown Leghorn" by noted bird artist Athos Menaboni (1895–1990). The colorful composition depicts a Brown Leghorn rooster and hen perched on a rustic wooden fence surrounded by trailing foliage.
Menaboni was renowned for his highly detailed bird paintings and reached the height of his career during the 1940s and 1950s. Brown Leghorn dates to 1956, and an example of the original lithograph is held in the collection of the Morris Museum of Art in Augusta, Georgia.
This vintage reproduction retains wonderful color and detail, with Menaboni's reproduced signature visible at the lower left. It is presented under glass in an attractive vintage gold-tone frame with dark accent detailing.

Condition: Print is in excellent vintage condition with beautiful color and a clean, attractive appearance. The vintage frame is in very good condition with some light wear consistent with age. Most corners remain tight; the upper right corner has a small amount of separation/looseness. Glass is mostly clear. Backing paper and hanging wire have been replaced. Please review all photographs carefully for complete condition.
