As ischaracteristic of these production copies, the film features a burned-in studioidentification slug on the right margin reading: \"JUL 18 55 PROD 1675 CARP76\". This accurately dates the session to July 18, 1955,and credits the photographer, which is highly likely MGM\'s renowned portraitartist Eric Carpenter (\"CARP\"). The lower margin also features alayered, photographically reproduced production number \"1757\" justabove a handwritten physical number.
Thisnegative originates directly from the personal collection of the late JerryWunderlich, a distinguished Hollywood set decorator known for his work on majormotion pictures including The Exorcist, The last Tycoon, WarGames andBlackSunday.
