Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible Vintage 1953 Nancy Ann Storybook \"Muffie\" Doll. This is the desirable early 8-inch straight-leg, non-walker variation featuring the rare embossed marking on her back: *\"STORY BOOK DOLLS CALIFORNIA\"*.**Condition & Features:**
* **Face and Hair:** Gorgeous original face paint with vibrant red lips and rosy cheeks. The sleep eyes function smoothly. She retains her original reddish-blonde curly synthetic wig, which is still styled with its original red satin ribbon headpiece.
Body: Early hard-plastic, non-walking body with jointed arms and straight legs (produced only from 1953-1954). The limbs secure firmly and hold a pose well.
Outfit: She is wearing her complete, historically correct 1953 factory outfit (#708-1), consisting of a vibrant red bodice with a matching waist bow and a crisp pleated multi-color plaid skirt.
Undergarments & Accessories: Remarkably, this doll still retains her original cream knit bloomers with delicate white lace trim around the leg openings. Includes her original white socks and white plastic side-snap shoes.**Condition Notes:**
